Serve with purpose. Grow through community.
No two days are the same at Charlie Lowles Leisure Centre Emerton, Riverstone Swimming Centre and Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope. As an Activity Assistant (Pool Lifeguard), you supervise pool users, respond to incidents, promote water safety and help create a safe, welcoming environment for the community. Your work helps people enjoy our aquatic facilities with confidence.

You assist with setting up and packing down programs and events, support the Keep Watch @ Public Pools program, and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the facility.
What you do matters every day. Your vigilance, sound judgement and professionalism help keep people safe while supporting positive experiences for visitors of all ages. You help create a place where the community can learn to swim, stay active, connect with others and enjoy their local facilities.
This casual role offers flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. You receive ongoing training and development to maintain your qualifications, strengthen your skills and grow your experience. The role suits someone who enjoys working with people, stays calm under pressure, works well in a team and takes pride in delivering safe, reliable service to the community.
