About the Opportunity
A great opportunity is available for the right person to join the Emergency Management Unit on a permeant part time basis in the role of Emergency Management Support Officer.
If you have an interest in municipal emergency management and want to learn more, you will be responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Emergency Management Coordinator. You will be updating emergency management documents, liaison with emergency services agencies and staff.
If you have excellent communication skills, are organised, team oriented and have high administration and computer skills then we want to hear from you.

What you need to Succeed
• Administration experience is essential
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Energy and enthusiasm
• Previous experience in emergency management
• Previous experience in preparing routine reports, procedures, guidelines and correspondence including meeting agendas and minutes.
• A current driver’s licence is essential for this position.
• Valid Working with Children’s Check card
• Satisfactory Police Records check
