JOB DESCRIPTION
The Applications Support Officer is responsible for providing user and technical support for Council's Corporate Applications, ensuring applications are maintained in accordance with Council standards and delivering responsive, high-quality customer service to internal stakeholders.
Working closely with business stakeholders, software vendors and the IT team, you will provide first and second level application support, manage incidents and service requests, maintain user access and security profiles, contribute to application changes and projects, and develop user documentation and training materials. You will also assist with software licensing, procurement, IT contracts, audits and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring services are delivered in accordance with Council's policies, procedures and IT Service Management practices.
