What You Will Do:
As a Ganger Wastewater Reticulation Maintenance, you’ll be responsible for repairing sewer blockages, installing extensions and lateral connections, maintaining wastewater assets, and inspecting manhole integrity. You'll also operate high-pressure water equipment, manage rising main easements, and respond to customer concerns. Your role includes participating in the after-hours callout roster, handling emergency wet weather overflow valves, and assisting supervisory staff in maintaining the sewer reticulation system while identifying maintenance needs and improvements.
What We Are Looking For:
Secondary education to Year 10.
A current MR Driver’s License to drive fleet.
Construction White Card.
Current confined space accreditation and/or ability and willingness to gain accreditation.
Previous experience in the maintenance of wastewater reticulation assets.
Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor environments (you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical)
Basic Computer Skills
Good writing skills and an understanding of basic mathematics.
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Proven ability to supervise, guide, and motivate a small team effectively.
Demonstrated reliability and commitment to delivering work to a high standard.
Strong practical skills in organising resources and solving operational challenges in wastewater reticulation.
