Overseer - Northern

Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a motivated and professional Overseer to join our experienced Roads Team.

This full-time role is based in Condobolin but works north of Condobolin and is a key member of the Infrastructure Services Department, responsible for the supervision of staff undertaking a range of projects and provides support to the various program Managers.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Certificate IV in Frontline Management or Local Government (operational works) or willing to obtain
• Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills
• Construction Inductions Certificate (White Card)
• Good planning, organisational and communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Demonstrated contractor management and project management skills
• Good literacy skills
• A current Class C Driver Licence.

What we Offer

Salary and Conditions: 

• Salary range: $3,083.11 to $3,314.34 per fortnight
• Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
• Position classified at Grade 11 within Council's Salary Structure.
• Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
