Tertiary Student Placement

City of Ballarat welcomes Expressions of Interest from tertiary students seeking placement opportunities that provide practical experience, professional development, and exposure to local government.

Students interested in undertaking a placement with City of Ballarat should meet the following criteria:

• Be currently enrolled in a recognised tertiary qualification at an Australian university, TAFE, or registered education provider.
• Be undertaking a course that requires or supports a practical placement component.
• Demonstrate a commitment to City of Ballarat's values and a desire to contribute to the local community.
• Be willing to obtain a National Police Check and, where applicable, a Working with Children Check relevant to the placement.
