About the role:

Council is seeking an application from an enthusiastic and suitably qualified person to join our team as Building Maintenance Officer.

This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the safety, functionality and presentation of our Councils infrastructure. You will be part of a team that takes pride in keeping Council’s buildings and public assets in top condition.

The position is permanent and in a full-time capacity, the successful applicant will work a 9-day fortnight. Works use of a vehicle is included with this position meaning the successful applicant will be able to drive throughout our beautiful shire in a company vehicle during work hours.


About you:

The successful candidate will have:

· the ability to work within a team environment

· knowledge in building maintenance, construction & rectification solutions.

· the ability to undertake maintenance and construction duties associated with Council’s Building Asset Management Plan.

The ability to undertake building maintenance and construction duties associated with Council’s assets, a current Victorian Drivers Licence and trade qualification in Carpentry is required for this position.
