What you need to know...

• temporary full time - 70 hours per fortnight
• the package: $72,916 to $86,953  plus superannuation, per annum
• location - Grafton

About the role

Do you have experience in the building and construction industry and would like a change? Are you a licensed builder, experienced carpenter, building designer or similar? Would you like your new employer to cover education costs while you earn an income and accelerate your new career?

We are recruiting experienced people from the building and construction industry to join the Council as a Building Officer, where you can use your knowledge and undertake further study to become a Building Inspector or Building Surveyor. For the successful applicant, Council will fully fund your tertiary education and provide a career pathway to a permanent Building Inspector position when successfully registered with Fair Trading NSW.

This position is located at Council's Grafton office, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
