Title: Car Park Attendant, Permanent - Full-time Role, 38 hours per week

Salary Range: $61736.83 to $71748.02 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Fixed Shifts:

Tuesday 6:30am – 2:30pm

Wednesday 6:30am – 3:30pm

Thursday 6:30am – 2:30pm

Friday 6:30am – 3:00pm

Saturday 6:30am – 1:30pm

Reporting to the Senior Car Park Attendant the Car Park Attendant is responsible for assisting in the running of Council’s car parking facilities through the efficient and effective daily operation of the Off-Street Parking Stations within the Manly CBD, Dee Why PCYC and the parking meters both on-street and in reserves.

Our opportunity :
The key focus areas of this role include: 
1)    Deliver polite, responsive, and professional service, assisting car park users and enhancing satisfaction.
2)    Ensure smooth day-to-day car park operations through cash handling, permit management, and accurate administrative support.
3)    Maintain safe, fully operational parking facilities through equipment checks, minor repairs, and proactive improvement of services. 

    
About you :
We’re looking for a reliable and organised person to join our friendly, customer-focused team. You bring enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and enjoy helping people have a positive experience when using our car parks. You pay attention to detail, keep equipment and facilities in good working order, and follow procedures to keep everyone safe. You’re comfortable handling cash, doing small repairs, and completing basic admin tasks. You like solving problems, working with a team, and helping make our community a better place.
