Casual Swim Teachers – Geographe Leisure Centre

• Casual - $35.65 per hour
• Generous superannuation scheme up to 15.5%

The Geographe Leisure Centre's Learn to Swim School believe that learning to swim and survive in all aquatic environments is an important and necessary life skill for all ages. Being employed within the GLC team is a great way to be part of your local community and offers an incredibly rewarding journey.

• Casual hours that can fit around study or other commitments. Shifts vary from morning and/or shifts between 9:00am – 12:00pm and 3:30pm – 6:00pm

What you’ll be doing:

• Teaching kids how to swim and be safe around water
• Bringing energy and encouragement to every lesson
• Creating a positive, safe and supportive learning space
• Working as part of a passionate team who love what they do

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Confident in the water and comfortable communicating with people of all ages
• Fun, friendly and full of positive vibes
• Currently hold an AUSTSWIM, RLSSWA or Swim Australia qualification
• Have a current CPR certificate and Working with Children Check
