The City of Canterbury Bankstown is one of the largest Council’s in NSW with the most culturally, socially and economically diverse communities in Sydney. We deliver 21 key services such as childcare, waste collection, parks maintenance, libraries, community facilities and aquatic centres to over 370,000 residents.
The Role
The City of Canterbury Bankstown is surrounded by the Georges, Cooks and Duck Rivers.
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of planning, developing, and putting into action creative strategies to help Council manage flood risk in the community through the flood risk management framework.
You'll play a crucial role in shaping Councils priorities and approach to how we manage stormwater, floodplains, and integrated water cycles in CBCity.
As a valued member of the City Plan and Transformation Unit, you'll work closely with diverse teams across Council and take the lead on special projects that involve building relationships and collaborating with external stakeholders.

The salary range for this opportunity commences at $101,423 (Grade H, Step 1) + 11.5 % super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
