The Civil Operations Team at Surf Coast Shire Council operates from two depots, Torquay and Winchelsea, to provide maintenance services for all of the council's civil-type assets.
The team maintains sealed and unsealed roads, footpaths, signage, and both urban and rural drainage systems. Our team comprises of a diverse range of experience levels and backgrounds and operates a wide range of plant to deliver both construction and maintenance tasks.
In this role, you will assume the responsibilities of a general Civil Maintenance Officer and will be involved in a broad spectrum of maintenance tasks across the coastal and hinterland areas of the Surf Coast Shire Council.
We are looking for someone with experience in the maintenance and construction of civil infrastructure, and preferably someone with experience working in a local government environment.
