Victoria Daly Regional Council is seeking an experienced and passionate Community Care Manager to lead the delivery of aged care and disability services across our region. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for someone committed to improving outcomes for older people, people with disability, and Aboriginal communities through high-quality, culturally appropriate services

What your day will look like, but are not limited to: 

As our Community Care Manager, no two days are the same. You'll be leading and supporting a dedicated team while ensuring high-quality aged care and disability services are delivered across the region.

On any given day, you will

  • Work closely with clients, families, communities and stakeholders to ensure services are responsive, culturally appropriate and person-centred.
  • Monitor service performance, budgets, reporting and funding requirements to ensure programs remain sustainable and compliant.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners to identify opportunities for service growth and innovation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, quality reviews, audits and risk management activities.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll balance strategy, people leadership, operational management and community engagement to make a lasting difference in the lives of our clients and communities.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

We're looking for a confident and capable leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality community care services and achieving meaningful outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.

You will bring: 

  • Proven leadership experience in aged care, disability, community services or a related sector.
  • A strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards, NDIS Practice Standards, and government-funded service delivery environments.
  • Strong financial and operational management experience, including budgeting, reporting and compliance oversight.
  • Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and a commitment to culturally safe and inclusive service delivery.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Aged Care, Disability, Community Services, Management or a related discipline.

Most importantly, you'll be a collaborative and values-driven leader who is committed to improving quality of life for older people, people with disability, and the communities we serve.

Other Requirements 

  • Criminal History Check (recent, within 3 months).
  • A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card).
  • A current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
  • NDIS Workers Clearance
