About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Esperance Home Care Team for a qualified and/or experienced Community Support Worker. This position is to provide support services to older people and younger people with a disability within the Shire of Esperance to assist them to remain living as independently as possible within their own homes. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning and Housekeeping duties in clients' homes
• Assist with providing a client laundry service
• Maintain basic information and records  

This is a casual position initially with a view to permanency as soon as schedules allow. This position is only available to Australian citizens or those with permanent residency

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Good cleaning and housekeeping skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively to older people and people with disabilities.

Benefits

Salary: $38.91 per hour, including casual loading.

You must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident (sorry, no working holiday or temporary visas).
