What's on Offer?

  • Starting salary range from $69,870.09 p.a. (plus $12k pro rata cost of living allowance = $81,870.09), negotiable subject to experience. [pro-rata for part-time]

About the Position

We’re looking for a friendly and customer-focused Customer Service Officer to join our Tom Price team on a 16-month maximum term contract to cover an extended period of leave.

This position is ideally suited to local residents with their own accommodation and offers a great opportunity for someone looking for flexibility, with full-time, part-time and job share arrangements all considered.

As part of our team, you'll be the first point of contact for many customer enquiries, helping to create a welcoming and professional experience for residents, visitors and stakeholders. You'll enjoy a varied role where no two days are the same, assisting customers, managing enquiries and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Shire. Your strong communication skills, positive attitude and commitment to customer service will help us deliver a high-quality experience for our community.

This position is responsible for:

  • Providing front-line customer service to residents, visitors and stakeholders.
  • Managing customer enquiries and switchboard operations.
  • Processing payments, registrations, refunds and other customer transactions.
  • Supporting reception, administrative and customer service functions across the organisation.
  • Assisting with records management, correspondence and daily administration activities.
  • Helping deliver a welcoming and professional experience for our community.
