The role:
An excellent career opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, capable and suitably qualified and experienced person to join the dynamic Upper Hunter Shire Council team as Director of Infrastructure Services. Reporting to the General Manager and as a member of the executive leadership team, you will implement, manage and administer a broad range of civil engineering projects, including road construction and maintenance, water and sewer infrastructure construction and maintenance, and parks and facilities maintenance and operations. This position is based in Scone and is critical to the success of Council.

What we need from you:
To be successful in the role, you will have proven experience in providing leadership at a similar level in a multifunctional organisation. Your understanding of Civil Engineering will be matched by an extensive project management background. You will possess strong communication and people skills which will ensure effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
