About the Opportunity

Do you have good communication skills, are organised, team oriented and have previous experience in asset management systems, including sound computer skills?  If so, you may be interested in the full-time position of Assets & Systems Officer within the Asset Management Team.

As the Assets & Systems Officer – you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with activities required to develop, implement and report on Asset Management functions.
  • Assisting with the production of asset management and service plans.
  • Coordinating the collection of condition data.
  • Maintaining the Asset database.
  • Undertaking GIS tasks relating to asset management.
  • Providing asset information to customers.

What you need to Succeed

  • A Tertiary qualification in a related field and some relevant experience OR a lesser formal qualification with substantial experience.
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report and submission writing, plan preparation, investigations and analysis of statistical information.
  • Experience and knowledge of Asset Management principles and techniques.
  • An understanding of legislation and regulations that impact on asset management.
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office, Asset Management and GIS software.
  • A current driver’s licence is essential for this position.
  • Satisfactory Police Records check and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Check are essential requirements.
