Certificate III Educator

Job Description

As a Certificate III Educator with Central Coast Council, you will help create a safe, welcoming and engaging environment where children can learn, grow and thrive. You will support the planning and delivery of quality education and care programs, build positive relationships with children and families, and contribute to a collaborative team. Key activities of this role include:

• Be a positive contributor to the team and deliver high quality education and

care in accordance with National Quality Framework/CCC’s policies and

procedures

• Use your knowledge and experience to develop and implement customised

educational programs in line with the EYLF learning outcomes and individual

needs and interests of children

• Support the team, assist with problem solving, and offer great ideas to keep

our activities fresh and relevant

• Build relationships with children, families and carers to make them feel

welcome and connected in our education and care community

• Take a responsible and professional approach to supervision of children and

their overall wellbeing

• Complete relevant documentation and administration associated with the

position

Applicant Profile

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills:

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Current First Aid Certificate including CPR and Anaphylaxis and Asthma

Management (HLTAID012 or equivalent)

Current Working with Children Check and evidence of necessary

vaccinations.

Previous experience in an Early Childhood Education and Care environment.

Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and early

childhood practises.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to creating a safe and engaging learning environment for children. You should be able to build effective relationships with children, parents, and colleagues while embracing teamwork and collaboration.

Offer Details

The commencing salary for this position is up to $34.68. Central Coast Council also provides progression opportunities for employees to progress up to the maximum salary of $40.18 on completion of assessment of skills and performance plus 12% superannuation

• We have a one permanent full-time and one temporary full-time role

available.

• These roles will be able to access a 19 day month

• These roles are located at Coastal Kids Umina and Coastal Kids Niagara Park.
