Full TimeThe City of Karratha is seeking an enthusiastic Engineering Asset Officer to join our Engineering Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vital infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, footpaths, parks, and more, while making a positive impact on the community.
As the Engineering Asset Officer, you will provide essential technical and administrative support in the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. You will support the Principal Engineer Coordinator in
managing road funding applications and oversee project administration, including grant applications, tenders, and progress reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management Support: Assist in coordinating infrastructure projects (roads, stormwater drainage, footpaths, etc.).
• Administrative Support: Provide support across all stages of project development, including documentation and meetings.
• Funding & Grant Applications: Manage grant applications (Regional Road Group, Roads to Recovery) and ensure timely reporting.
• Contract & Procurement Management: Assist in procurement, preparing tender documents, and managing contractors.
• Asset Management: Support asset data collection and management for future
maintenance programs.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and the community.
