Finance Officer

• Permanent, full-time
• 35 hours per week with access to Council's flexible working arrangements
• Salary range $1155.40 to $1338.20 per week (plus 11.5% superannuation)

About the role

Council is seeking a detail-oriented team player to join our Finance team. As a Finance Officer, you will play a critical role in undertaking a variety of financial tasks and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers. Key responsibilities include: electronic banking, bank reconciliations, preparing the monthly BAS and maintaining an efficient accounts receivable function.

About You

• Certificate III in Accounting or Finance and/or equivalent experience in a finance role
• Current drivers licence
• Attention to detail with high level of accuracy
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
