ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The Environmental and Development Services team monitor public health related businesses who provide food and beauty services to the community, along with places of public access such as public swimming pools, making sure they are safe for the Cumberland Council residents. This team is also responsible for regulating compliance throughout the LGA ensuring that amenity and general safety is achieved, monitoring building compliance and fire safety. All of these services allow residents and visitors to the area to enjoy and feel safe within our Council area.
The Fire Safety Administration Officer will provide operational business and administration support to the Fire Safety Team including the management and continual improvement of the fire safety database. This position directly reports to the Development Programs Coordinator and will work closely with the Manager of Environmental Health and Development Programs.
