
Fleet Services Officer

About the role
This position is a full-time, permanent role in the Fleet Services team, based at Moruya. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering Council’s light fleet and providing administrative assistance to the overall Fleet functions of Council. You will facilitate the allocation of operational and leaseback vehicles and monitor Council's pool vehicles. Some duties include looking after vehicle registration, insurance, fuel and the purchasing of accessories.
The starting salary for this position is $73,566.19 per annum plus 12% superannuation.

About you
You are an organised and customer-focused professional with qualifications or experience in fleet management, asset management, business administration, finance, or a related field. You have strong administrative, records and data management skills, supported by advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
With excellent communication skills, you can build positive relationships and provide high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders. You are able to manage competing priorities, maintain confidentiality, and consistently deliver accurate and timely outcomes. A proactive and reliable team member, you work effectively both independently and collaboratively, contributing to efficient operations and positive business results.
