Cairns Performing Arts Centre is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the exceptional experience we provide for our patrons.

Primary Objectives:

  • To provide exemplary customer service to all patrons and clients at Cairns Performing Arts Centre CPAC and Munro Martin Parklands MMP.
  • Delivery of diverse events including the full range of live performance, music, community, corporate, festival and outdoor programs and events.
  • Supervise a high-performing customer service team of bar attendants, ushers, merchandise sellers and event staff.
  • Ensure the provision of a safe environment for all staff, artists, patrons, and members of the public visiting or working in the Precinct.
  • Event set up, food and beverage service and timely delivery of performances and events.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Courteous and friendly with advanced communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in theatre, events, cinema or hospitality industry.
  • Passionate about customer service and performing arts.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and computer literacy.
  • Comfortable with variable working hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Effective liaison with colleagues, event producers, performers, and tour managers
  • Maintains cleanliness and order in auditoria, foyers, and bar areas.
