General Hand Waste

• Salary: $67,287 per annum (1,293 per week)
• Plus up to 15% superannuation (conditions apply)
• Full Time Permanent Position

The City’s Waste Services business unit is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated General Hand to join their team. In this hands-on busy role, you will be responsible for collecting litter and general waste across the City's public areas. You will also be responsible for operating fleet and plant equipment, while delivering exceptional customer service to the City’s residents, ratepayers, and employees.

To be successful for this position you will have a minimum of one years’ experience of litter bin collections in public areas and pedestrian litter collections and hold the following mandatory tickets and qualifications.

• Appropriate plant operating certificates (ATV, small plant equipment including trailers to carry out Waste Services).
• WA ‘MR’ Class Drivers Licence.
• Basic Traffic Management and Traffic Control Certificates.
• Construction Safety Induction Card (White Card).
• Current First Aid Certificate including CPR (HLTAID011 and HLTAID009).
