About the opportunity

Looking to work locally and be part of a great team? Depending on operational requirements and your skill set, you will be assisting the Construction, Maintenance and/ or Parks & Gardens teams in the undertaking of various earthworks and ad hoc activities to support the Shire’s Capital & Operating Works programs.  

Road construction and maintenance are the main focus of the role.

Details

General Hand Works (HR 12/25)

• Continuing, Full-Time 76 hours/ fortnight
• EA Level 2/3 ($59,279 - $73,439 per annum)
• Plus superannuation, career development, generous leave provisions and recreation centre membership

Position description and selection criteria

General Hand Works Position Description

The successful applicant will have:

• Current C class license
• Construction white card
• Demonstrated experience in manual labouring
• Ability to work within a team environment

The right candidate will be given opportunity to obtain HR license and gain experience on heavy machinery in civil works.
