Position Overview
This position supports the maintenance and construction of Council roads network by safely and efficiently operating plant and equipment under routine supervision. The role involves delivering work in line with Council’s adopted service levels, completing required documentation, and contributing positively to team performance and customer service outcomes.
Work conditions will be in accordance with Circular Head Council Enterprise Agreement.

Candidate Profile
Council is seeking a motivated and reliable Heavy Combination driver/Labourer with Practical experience in civil road construction and maintenance as a requirement, with the ability to work safely in multiskilled teams while following WHS requirements. The role involves operating Heavy Rigid machinery, plant, equipment, and trucks on public roads, with strong communication skills and attention to detail.
As a candidate, you will demonstrate professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement. You will work effectively as part of a team, be adaptable and safety-focused, and contribute positively to Council’s operational objectives in line with its values, service standards, and community expectations.

The successful candidate will earn an attractive salary of $68,073 - $76,331 PLUS super and a range of benefits including:
