About the Role

As our Housing & Facilities Officer, you will play a key role in managing and maintaining housing and facility assets. You will also be required to oversee projects, conduct property inspections and audits in 13 communities. Coordination of accommodation needs in remote communities for internal MRC staff and external stakeholders.

This position is based in Alice Springs and approximately 20% of work time will be spent travelling to and working in remote communities - including overnight stays - in the MacDonnell Regional Council area of service.

Who We're Looking For

Are you an experienced Housing & Facilities Officer who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? Do you love being the go-to person to address complex problems, which may involve gathering and analysing additional information, with assistance available from Supervisor for complex issues? To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Extensive experience in facilities, assets, or project management. Ability to acquire a NT Ochre card and hold a current driver's licence
