Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centres are looking for a Junior Visitor Services Officer who will assist with Cultural Talks at Echo Point. This position will assist a First Nations elder setup events, check ticket lists and introduce and assist the elder with the talks.
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in culture and visitors to the region.
You will be required to work Saturdays from 10am to 1pm.
Please note, you must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander to apply for this position. This exemption is covered by Section 14(a) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (ADA).
Remuneration: based on applicant’s age (15-17 years)
+ 12% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary
+ annual award increase
