The Opportunity

people living with disabilities? The Northern Peninsula Area Regional Council (NPARC) is seeking
a Manager – Aged Care & Disability Services to lead our commitment to providing dignified, high-
quality, and culturally safe care.
Based in our Aged Care Facility in New Mapoon office, you will be the driving force behind essential
community services, ensuring our most vulnerable residents receive the support they need to thrive
within the unique social fabric of the Northern Peninsula Area.
The Role
As a key leadership figure, you will bridge the gap between complex legislative requirements and
community wellbeing. You will oversee a diverse and critical portfolio:
• Clinical Governance & Compliance: Lead the strategic and operational delivery of
programs to ensure 100% alignment with the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards
and NDIS Practice Standards.
• Strategic Service Delivery: Navigate the complexities of government funding streams,
including My Aged Care and the NDIS, to ensure the sustainable growth of community care.
• Workforce Leadership: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a supportive
environment dedicated to clinical excellence and cultural integrity.
• Advocacy & Engagement: Act as the primary liaison between Council, government bodies,
and local families, ensuring our clients’ voices are heard and respected.
