As the Manager Banyule Leisure you'll lead one of Melbourne’ s best internal Leisure management teams across three unique facilities each with its own exciting opportunities and challenges.

What you will do

  • Drive Strategy: Implement innovative programs and partnerships to elevate Banyule Leisure’s offerings.
  • Lead Redevelopment: Play a key role in the IAC’s aquatics redevelopment, consider vision and future options for Olympic Leisure Centre and build on the delivering state-of-the-art facilities.
  • Inspire Teams: Foster a positive culture where staff feel supported to innovate and adapt.
  • Enhance Community Impact and Elevate participation in Physical activity: Put community health and wellbeing at the forefront of everything we do.

What you'll bring/what we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Expertise in leisure facility management, innovation, and community engagement.
  • Proven ability to motivate and develop diverse teams.
  • Experience managing budgets, capital projects, and compliance requirements.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and health outcomes
  • Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management, Recreation, or related disciplines, plus relevant experience.

Pre-employment requirements

  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) (Previously known as a police check)
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Current Working with Children’s Check
  • Psychometric Assessment
