The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Director Corporate and Community, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to join our team. The primary purpose of the position is to provide leadership, guidance, support and coordination to make sure Council has an effective, robust, and resilient integrity and governance system that complies with legislative requirements, manages risks, prevents fraud and corruption, monitors internal controls, and promotes continuous improvement.
This is a diverse role where you will apply your knowledge of and experience in corporate governance and provide leadership and management to the Service Centre team to so that Council can capture and respond effectively to customer requests in person and electronically, communicates effectively with customers and maintains records in an efficient and compliant manner.

Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to lead, mentor and motivate a team, to deliver outcomes. You will have a 'can do' problem solving attitude and demonstrated experience in applying legislation and successfully delivering initiative in governance and risk and will hold tertiary qualifications in law, business, public administration, corporate governance or similar.
