Are you a qualified mechanic looking for variety in your work? Council is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of vehicles, plant and equipment, helping deliver essential services to the community every day.

In this hands-on role, you'll undertake servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a diverse range of light and heavy vehicles, plant and machinery, ensuring Council's fleet remains safe, reliable and ready to support operations.

YOUR WORKING ENVIRONMENT (for eligible employees)

  • A weekly salary between $1,403.58 – $1,579.71 dependent upon skills and experience, plus 12% superannuation
  • Work a 9-day fortnight, based on a 38-hour working week
