Municipal Ranger

Circular Head Council is on the hunt to find a Municipal Ranger with qualifications or experience in a regulatory, compliance services role, and or has the ability to acquire these skills.

In this position you will require experience in de-escalating high pressure situations as well as being a wizard at resolving issues with a smile. Possess skills in patrolling, enforcing, and being the friendly face of authority. Pro-active at keeping the community safe and updated with compliance.

You will need:

• A current manual driver’s licence.
• An understanding of investigative processes and principles within a government environment.
• The ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, regulations etc. in a regulatory environment.
• An aptitude and confidence to deal with animals, predominantly dogs.

The package:

• Wages as per Council’s enterprise agreement
• Remuneration review on completion of successful probation
• Guaranteed 5% increase in 2025
• 11.5% superannuation
• A 19 day month
