About the Opportunity 

Based at any of our regional centres  (Dalby/Chinchilla/Miles/Tara or Wandoan), you will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative support and assistance to ensure the efficient and effective functionality, with an emphasis on customer service and administration.

This position is full time fixed term until October 2025.

Reporting to the Parks and Recreation Business Services Coordinator, you will:

  • provide efficient and courteous customer services to Council's customers; 
  • complete procurement and purchasing tasks; and 
  • assist with administration tasks for the cemeteries and camping functions. 

About yourself 

The successful applicant will be: 

  • a driven, well organised self-starter with an interest in parks & recreation; 
  • able to meet deadlines whilst working independently, with limited supervision; 
  • highly developed computer skills including demonstrated experience with MS Office suite and electronic records management systems; and
  • proven ability in producing solutions to problems and resolving issues using analytical reasoning and experience. 

This role is full time, working 36.25 hours per week with a fortnightly RDO.
