What's on Offer?

• Salary of $140,177 per annum, inclusive of a $12,000 Cost of Living Allowance.
• Company Housing and Relocation Package, up to $15,000.
• Full-time role, 40 hours per week, based in Tom Price

About the Position

We're growing our People and Culture team and are excited to introduce this new People and Culture Business Partner position. In this influential role, you'll work closely with leaders and employees, providing expert advice, coaching, and people-focused solutions that drive organisational success and support the delivery of meaningful community outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with leaders and employees to provide trusted advice across the full employee lifecycle.
• Coaching leaders to manage people matters confidently, fairly and in line with legislation, policy and best practice.
• Providing timely and practical employee and industrial relations advice, including support with performance, conduct, conflict and workplace matters.
• Supporting the design and delivery of people initiatives that strengthen organisational capability, engagement and culture.
• Contributing to positive organisational change, continuous improvement and effective workforce planning outcomes.
• Building productive relationships with internal stakeholders to support consistent, people-focused decision-making across the Shire.
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, respectful and high-performing workplace culture, including shared responsibility for safety, diversity, access and inclusion.

About You

We are looking for an experienced, confident, values-led People and Culture professional who can build trusted relationships, provide balanced advice and support leaders to create a positive, safe and high-performing workplace. You will bring:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in People and Culture, HR business partnering or contemporary HR advisory roles.
• Strong generalist HR capability across the full employee lifecycle, including engagement, culture, capability development and organisational effectiveness.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, or substantial experience in a generalist Human Resources role.
• Sound practical knowledge of Western Australian industrial relations and employment legislation, with the ability to provide clear, balanced and pragmatic advice.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, influence and partner with leaders to strengthen people leadership capability and support constructive workplace outcomes.
• Experience managing complex employee and workplace matters with professionalism, resilience and empathy, while balancing organisational risk with fair and respectful outcomes.
• A collaborative, solutions-focused approach, with the confidence to work across diverse teams and contribute to a respectful, inclusive and service-focused culture.
