Title: Planner / Senior Planner, Temporary Contract up to 2 years 

Salary Range: $92604.95 to $140,839.32 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our opportunity
The key focus areas of this role include: 
1)    Ability to effectively manage and assess multiple planning applications simultaneously, ensuring timely and accurate assessments are delivered.
2)    Acting as an expert witness in Land and Environment Court appeals, managing and representing Council at planning panels
3)    Attending to planning enquires, providing planning advice and providing high level customer service to the residents of the Northern Beaches

 


Who we are looking for
We are looking for DA Planners with range of skills and experience in development assessment, ready to hit the ground running in one of the top performing Development Assessment units in NSW, assisting with the processing of a high volume of work during a period of internal and external change. 

 

About you
•    Tertiary qualification in Town Planning or equivalent
•    Excellent project management and organisational skills with ability to undertake a range of tasks and prioritise work to meet deadlines
•    Practical experience and exposure to preparing reports and presenting to Local and Planning Panels and the Land and Environment Court
•    Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
•    Experience with Technology One, Content Manager, Objective Trapeze, or similar software is highly regarded
