Are you an experienced Plant Operator with demonstrated competency operating a Skid Steer, Excavator and Backhoe who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in delivering quality civil construction outcomes? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Operator/Labourer to join our Urban Operations team, helping construct and maintain the infrastructure our community relies on every day.

About the Role

As a key member of our multi-disciplined team, you'll be responsible for operating a range of civil construction plant, including a Skid Steer, Excavator and Backhoe, together with undertaking labouring duties that support the construction and maintenance of Council's infrastructure assets. This is a hands-on role where your skills and experience will directly contribute to the safety, functionality and appearance of our community.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Demonstrated competency in the safe operation of a Skid Steer, Excavator and Backhoe, with the ability to provide supporting evidence of competency such as RII qualifications or other recognised training and experience;  
• Construction Industry Induction (White Card); and
• Possess and maintain a Medium Rigid (MR) vehicle licence.
