PLUMBING COMPLIANCE OFFICER

 

Qualified plumber looking for a change? Use your plumbing experience in a different way

Circular Head Council is seeking a Plumbing Compliance Officer to assess applications, inspect plumbing and drainage work, and help resolve compliance matters across the municipality.

The role

As Council’s Plumbing Permit Authority, you will:

  • assess plumbing applications and issue permits within delegated authority
  • inspect plumbing and drainage work
  • investigate complaints and non-compliance
  • provide practical advice to plumbers, applicants and property owners
  • maintain accurate records and meet statutory timeframes.

About you

You will have:

  • recognised plumbing trade qualifications
  • the required Plumber Practitioner (Certifier) licence
  • practical plumbing and drainage experience
  • good judgement, communication and organisational skills
  • satisfactory National Police Check
  • a current driver’s licence and White Card

Local government or compliance experience is desirable, but not essential.

Salary and Benefits

Full-time | Level 4, Grade 1–5 under the Circular Head Council Enterprise Agreement.

Salary: $84,163–$94,065 per annum, plus superannuation. Benefits include:
