About the Job

There is an exciting opportunity with the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre for a Pool Operator. This position ensures the aquatic area is in accordance with Shire of Esperance protocols, procedures and legislative requirements, including Department of Health Code of Practice for Safe Pool Operations

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitor and maintain all daily aspects of the Bay of Isles Leisure Centre 
• Maintain pool chemistry
• Mentor and supervise lifeguards 

This is a permanent part-time position, working a minimum 25 hours per week.  

About you 

In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you must have:

• Current LIWA Accreditation, Aquatic Technical Operator, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard or willingness to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Well developed verbal and written communication skills

Benefits

Salary: $70,095.00 per annum (pro-rata)

Permanent staff are entitled to:

• 5 weeks annual leave per year (pro-rata)
