About the role

The City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder currently has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Procurement and Contracts as a Procurement Officer.

Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator, this role is responsible ensuring the compliance of City officers to the City's Purchasing Policies and procedures to ensure probity in procurement activities. The role also assists in the tender process to ensure the City's tender processes are followed and compliant to legislative requirements;

We are looking for someone who thrives working in a fun team environment, who can demonstrate initiative. You will have an excellent work ethic and have excellent communication skills, as the role involves working with the City's various business units to facilitate their procurement needs.
