Salary: $104,736 - $109,971 per annum + 12% superannuation

About the role

You will be responsible for preparation, review and implementation of procurement related procedures and guidelines ensuring compliance with legislation and commitment to sustainability and community objectives.

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Relevant qualifications in Procurement, Contract Management, Law, Business, Commerce or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in purchasing and procurement within a regulated environment.
  • Experience working with guidelines, policies, and practices of good governance.
  • High-level administrative skills, including preparing reports, business communications, managing workflows/schedules, and related software systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time, plan and set priorities, and organise one's own work to achieve individual and business unit objectives within agreed timeframes.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, teamwork and customer relationship skills, and the ability to coach and encourage participation and support from a diverse range of people, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to effectively use computer software applications including procurement and finance applications, corporate information management systems and MS Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a wide cross section of the community and organisation in a professional and succinct manner.
  • Experience coordinating and evaluating complex tenders as well as developing, reviewing and editing a wide range of tender documents.
  • High level analytical and effective reporting skills necessary for matters relating to the position.
