Records & Information Services Officer

Permanent Full Time (35 hours per week) 


The role:
Council is looking for an organised and proactive individual to join our Records Team, where you’ll help keep information moving and services running smoothly. You’ll provide professional records management support to both internal teams and external customers, ensuring records are handled accurately, securely, and in line with legislative requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, collaboration, and making a meaningful contribution to effective local government operations.

- A salary range from $1213.90 - $1359.60 per 35 hour week (based on relevant skills and experience) + 12% super and the opportunity for salary progression.

What we need from you:
To be successful in this role, you need to be an organised and detail-focused professional who values accuracy, confidentiality, and great service. You’re comfortable managing competing priorities, working autonomously, and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders.

You’ll bring:
- Qualifications in Records Management, Business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Sound judgement, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management, organisation, and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and business systems
- A customer-focused approach
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence.
- Experience with Content Manager (or similar), knowledge of records-related legislation, training delivery experience, and/or local government exposure, highly desirable.
