We are seeking a highly motivated and multi-skilled individual who can deliver high profile projects and quality outcomes for the sport, recreation and cemetery service.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing contractors, consultants, and stakeholders, as well as resolving compliance and risk-related issues within the areas of sport, recreation, and cemeteries. You will be responsible for fostering strong working relationships, investigating funding options, and assisting in the management of public open spaces, cemeteries, and recreation facilities.

You will have:
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant area of expertise or demonstrated experience working in the open space, recreation or cemetery industry.
• Proven high level written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated project management skills and experience including financial management, planning and delivery through to evaluation and closeout.
• Experience in managing external consultants and contractors.
• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Well-developed computer skills to undertake all word processing, budgeting and presentations associated with the position.
• Demonstrated ability to manage community consultation, meetings, expectations, and relationships.
• A demonstrated commitment to providing high level customer service.
• Knowledge and commitment to Workplace Health and Safety requirements and principles of Equal Employment Opportunities.
• A current Class C drivers licence.
A leaseback vehicle is available with this position.
Remuneration: base salary commencing at $93,634 gross per annum
+ 11.5% superannuation
+ performance payment 1% - 3.5% annual salary (if eligible)
+ annual award increase
