We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer (Civil) to lead the design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects across the City.

In this role, you will lead civil design projects from concept through to completion, preparing and reviewing engineering designs and specifications while ensuring compliance with relevant standards. You will provide technical guidance, engage with key stakeholders including consultants and contractors, and mentor team members to support high-quality project delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria when submitting your online application:

• Demonstrate expertise and extensive experience in civil engineering design and the preparation of construction documentation for large, complex projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, in accordance with Austroads guidelines, Main Roads standards, and Australian Standards.

• Demonstrate the ability to provide high-level technical oversight, drive innovation, and offer expert guidance to Design Engineers and drafters, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and excellence across all design deliverables.

We are offering a remuneration package from $111,967 to $119,224, depending on skills and experience and:

• 12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
