Title: Specialist Development Application Lodgement Officer, Temporary - Temporary contract up to 1 year
Salary Range: $92604.95 to $107622.32 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

Our opportunity
The key focus areas of this role include:
1) Undertake preliminary reviews of applications ensuring all required information is submitted applicable referrals are undertaken and exhibition is completed.
2) Be able to interpret, apply and provide advice on the NSW Planning systems, including the Environmental Planning & Assessment Act 1979, Environmental Planning & Assessment Regulation 2021, State Environmental Planning Policies, Local Environmental Plans and Development Control Plans.
3) Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
4) Provide the Teams within the Development Assessment business unit with administrative support, ensuring high quality, effective and responsive service is provided.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for someone who will be responsible for processing the administrative components of Development Applications and facilitates communication between Assessment Officers and the Community.
About you
• Demonstrated administrative experience and knowledge of the legislative lodgement requirements for development applications within Local Government in New South Wales
• Delivering accurate and consistent work within tight timeframes in a fast-paced high volume work environment.
• Current NSW Class C Drivers Licence
• Experience with Technology One, Content Manager, Objective Trapeze, or similar software is highly regarded
