The City Planning Unit is responsible for the delivery of statutory planning services within the City of Monash.
About the Position
If you are a town/urban planner looking for a start in your career or career progression, this is the opportunity to work within our Statutory Planning Team. This role provides an opportunity to work within a large team of experienced statutory planners in a friendly and supportive environment.
The role will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of planning applications including residential development, Vic Smart planning applications, subdivision, commercial and industrial developments. Experience of dealing with customers and clear and concise communication skills would be an advantage.
Skills and Experience
Understanding of statutory planning, and related legislation
Good customer service skills
Developed analytical skills and report writing
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in urban planning
Satisfactory National Police Check; and
Other pre-employment checks may be required depending on the role requirements.
