Position Summary

To support the Norseman supermarket to provide quality fresh food, butchery and delicatessen products and customer service. You will be required to support a high standard of fresh food, butchery and delicatessen services including but not limited to stock control, ordering, product display, and customer service.

KEY Duties and Responsibilities

• Support to ensure stock levels and quality meet the demands of the supermarket

• • Comply with relevant Food Safety standards and codes.
  • Ensure safe and responsible handling of fruit, vegetable and meat products, including but not limited to date control, packaging, and cleaning.
  • Support the maintainance of equipment and tools, report faults.
  • Assist in the Fresh Food Department, including fruit, vegetables and meat. 
  • Assist with load and stock days.
  • Ensure good presentation of all fruit, vegetable and meat products
  • Perform hot chicken and roast chooks as requested. Ensure all foods baked/cooked onsite for sale to the public are monitored to ensure food safety and quality.
  • Check out and stock support
