at Blacktown City Council
Full TimeDesign the future of a growing city
Our Project Management and Design teams deliver the infrastructure and facilities that support a growing city. As a Project Manager, you lead delivery of projects within the Western Sydney Infrastructure Grant program and Council’s Transformational Projects Program. Your work helps create the buildings, workplaces and community infrastructure people rely on every day.
You manage projects from planning through to completion. You prepare project plans, budgets, procurement documentation and reports. You coordinate consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, monitor risks and project performance, and keep projects on track for time, cost and quality. You also oversee commissioning, handover and operational opening to ensure each project is ready for use.
Every project has a visible impact on Blacktown City. The facilities and infrastructure you deliver support Council services, improve workplaces and contribute to a city that continues to grow and evolve. You see projects progress from concepts and plans through to completed outcomes that benefit the community.
You join a supportive and collaborative team where project management expertise is valued. We offer meaningful work, flexible working arrangements and opportunities to develop your skills across a diverse range of infrastructure and building projects. This role suits an organised and proactive Project Manager who enjoys managing competing priorities, building strong relationships and delivering successful project outcomes.
At Blacktown City Council, good people make great teams, and great teams build great cities. Here, you will find the stability and support to keep growing, along with:
