  • $111,788 pa + 12% super (level 6)
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.
  • Location: Narangba

Join City of Moreton Bay as a Systems and Data Lead - Operations, and help lead the future of operational systems, data, and business improvement.

As a Systems and Data Lead - Operations, you will provide specialist leadership, technical expertise and strategic direction across operational technology platforms, data governance, reporting and business improvement initiatives within our Civil Services Department.

 

You will have the opportunity to; 

  • lead and supervise an outcomes-driven team of emerging technical professionals, providing guidance, mentoring and professional development that fosters a high-performing and customer-focused culture
  • serve as the primary custodian and subject matter expert for operational business systems, evaluating business requirements, prioritising system enhancement requests, assessing operational impacts, resource requirements and implementation priorities, and driving the continuous improvement of systems, technologies and business practices that support operational outcomes. 
  • drive business improvement initiatives through the development of policies, procedures and business processes that enhance system utilisation, operational efficiency and service delivery outcomes

About you

We are seeking someone who is passionate about improving systems, using data to drive better outcomes and leading teams through change. You will thrive in a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement, innovation and data-informed decision-making to deliver operational excellence.

 

You will have; 

  • experience managing and improving enterprise systems and operational technologies.
  • strong capability in reporting, dashboards, performance metrics and analytics.
  • knowledge of data governance, asset management and operational service delivery.
  • experience delivering system implementations and managing technology vendors.
  • well-developed analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • proven people leadership, coaching and team development experience.

You will have a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Business Systems, Asset Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline; or equivalent demonstrated experience.

A certifications in business intelligence, data analytics, asset management systems, or project management will be highly regarded.
