The Role

An exciting opportunity exists within our Community Services and Facilitation Directorate for a Team Leader Library. In this role, you will be responsible for providing coordination and management of the Proserpine Library to achieve Whitsunday Regional Libraries strategies and plans and ensure the direction of management and Council are met.

Essential

1. C Class Drivers Licence.
2. Working with Children Blue Card.
3. Tertiary qualifications or relevant accreditation in Library and/or Information studies or the willingness to progress towards soon after appointment.
4. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite of Applications.

Desirable

1. Prior experience working in a public library.
2. Knowledge of library operations and program delivery.
